Baseball Game Preview: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. Skyline Raiders

The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes will head out on the road to face off against the Skyline Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Duncanville barely beat Skyline the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Duncanville put the hurt on Skyline with a sharp 9-1 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers and Pantherettes as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Isaac Zenon was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Braylon Hubbard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Duncanville's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for Skyline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
