Soccer Game Preview: Puckett vs. Wesson

The Puckett Wolves will take on the Wesson Cobras in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Puckett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Puckett came up short against Crystal Springs and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Wesson made sure to put some goals up on the board against McLaurin on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Tigers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Wesson's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Puckett's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wesson, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
