Grant never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cordova Lancers as they made off with a 26-0 win. Given the Pacers' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Lancers are ranked 499th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Cordova, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grant will take on rival McClatchy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pacers 11.4, the Lions 12.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Cordova is set to square off against their familiar foe Antelope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
