Even though the Southern Lehigh Spartans scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, the Easton Area Rovers still came out on top. Easton Area took their game against Southern Lehigh 69-56. That's another feather in the cap for Easton Area, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Easton Area's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Algee Macon led the charge by scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Cornish, who scored 12 points.
Easton Area's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Southern Lehigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
