Highland is 6-1 against Salem since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Highland Rebels will head out on the road to square off against the Salem Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. Highland knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, everything went Highland's way against Mountain View as Highland made off with a 15-1 win. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Salem narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Midland 3-2.

Salem's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Highland took their victory against Salem in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highland since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
