Basketball Recap: Edison Tigers vs. Centennial Golden Hawks

Edison lost against Centennial back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Edison Tigers were dealt a 95-49 loss at the hands of the Centennial Golden Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 997th, while the Golden Hawks are ranked 194th).

It was another big night for Michael Gutierrez, who went 10 of 16 en route to 26 points and seven rebounds for Centennial. The matchup was Gutierrez's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
