After a string of four wins, Mile High Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Maddie Donovan paced Mile High Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Donovan got some help from Carissa Donovan and her three assists. Addy Dodds controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mile High Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Collegedale Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Mile High Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Spring Valley Academy on the 23rd. Collegedale Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
