Basketball Recap: Cedar Crest Takes a Loss

Cedar Crest lost against Lampeter-Strasburg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cedar Crest Falcons fell just short of the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers by a score of 54-52.

Chase Smucker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lampeter-Strasburg, going 5 for 11 en route to 13 points. Thad Book was another key player, putting up nine points.

Cedar Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Cedar Crest has already played their next contest (against Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lampeter-Strasburg will square off against Donegal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lampeter-Strasburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
