Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Windham Bombers, falling 60-24. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Windham, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Bloomfield will be playing in front of their home fans against McKinley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bloomfield is facing McKinley at the right time seeing as McKinley is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Windham, they will venture away from home to take on Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Chalker likes a good challenge.
