Volleyball Recap: Glenbard West Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glenbard West had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Minooka Indians. The Hilltoppers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Glenbard West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Minooka between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 31-5. As for Minooka, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-19.

Coming up, Glenbard West will square off against Hinsdale South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hilltoppers surely won't give up without a fight. Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
