Mountain View hadn't done well against St. Joseph recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went the Mountain View Yellowjackets' way against the St. Joseph Bulldogs as the Mountain View Yellowjackets made off with an 8-3 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Kyle Corners and Adhi Anandaraj scored all eight of Mountain View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two games. As for St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will square off against Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Joseph, they will venture away from home to face off against Conway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
