Softball Recap: Tinley Park Takes a Loss

Tinley Park managed to slip by Richards the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans came up short against the Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 8-1. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Tinley Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Aggen, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Tinley Park and nudges their season record down to 13-10. As for Richards, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tinley Park will host Mother McAuley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Richards, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
