Basketball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

If Columbia was riding high fresh off their 56-36 takedown of Stevenson last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Columbia Bruins took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoquiam Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Bruins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Hoquiam, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Columbia nor Hoquiam have any future games scheduled.
