Baseball Recap: Evergreen's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Saturday just wasn't the day for Evergreen's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Conifer Lobos on Saturday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lobos earlier this season, when they won 12-2.

Evergreen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Laursen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Evergreen's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6-1. As for Conifer, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Evergreen will face off against Green Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Conifer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
