Twin Rivers lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Senath-Hornersville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Royals' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lions a 12-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Royals, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Twin Rivers' win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Senath-Hornersville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Twin Rivers will look to defend their home field on Friday against East Prairie at 4:30 p.m. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.24 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Senath-Hornersville, they will head out to challenge Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
