Oceanside had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens 12-11. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Oceanside got a massive performance out of Anaiah Filo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Seaven Fuimaono, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
