Recap: Laurel Golden Tornadoes vs. St. Patrick Fighting Irish
The Laurel Golden Tornadoes pushed their score all the way to 72 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to St. Patrick 77-72.
It was another big night for Matt Krass, who scored 37 points along with six rebounds for St. Patrick. That makes it four consecutive games in which Krass has scored at least 25% of St. Patrick's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Triplett, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for St. Patrick, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Laurel will be home for the holidays to greet Gautier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Patrick, they will head out on the road to face off against Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while St. Patrick is ranked 122nd).
