Soccer Recap: North Vermilion Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Saturday just wasn't the day for North Vermilion's offense. They came up short against the St. Thomas More Cougars on Saturday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Cougars are ranked third).

North Vermilion's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7-1. As for St. Thomas More, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2-5.

North Vermilion has already played their next game (against Westminster Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Thomas More does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
