Lexington entered their tilt with Arlington on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Arlington Spy Ponders out 39-37. That's more bragging rights for the Minutemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexington pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arlington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Lexington will take on Acton-Boxborough at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to take on Arlington Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
