Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Ferndale

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Bernard's, Ferndale was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hoopa Valley Warriors an 18-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Ferndale pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.2 runs. As for Hoopa Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
