Baseball Recap: Monroe Catholic Has No Trouble Against Delta

After losing to Delta the last time they met, Monroe Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams blew past the Huskies 11-1 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

AJ Geyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. Geyer was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gage Goble, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
