Tri-County entered their tilt with Newman Catholic on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Fighting Cardinals get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that Tri-County have won by just one goal.

Tri-County's victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for Newman Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
