Basketball Recap: Berlin Comes Up Short

If Berlin was riding high fresh off their 54-22 takedown of Inter-Lakes last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Berlin Mountaineers fell just short of the Prospect Mountain Timberwolves by a score of 45-43 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-35 back in January.

Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Prospect Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Berlin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-25 win against Somersworth on the 14th. As for Prospect Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-32 defeat against White Mountains on the 13th.
