While Simmons was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Nanih Waiya's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11, 25-15.

Simmons' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Nanih Waiya, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.
