Baseball Recap: Wilton Comes Up Short

Wilton lost to Norwalk back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 12-4 to the Bears. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Norwalk, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wilton will square off against Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwalk, they will take on Berlin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Redcoats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
