Softball Recap: Evergreen Park Takes a Loss

Evergreen Park lost against Oak Forest back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bengals. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Evergreen Park's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Oak Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evergreen Park will challenge Rich Township at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oak Forest, they will square off against Bolingbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bengals are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
