It was a proper cat-fight when Goddard took on Eisenhower on Tuesday. The Goddard Lions secured a 60-55 W over the Eisenhower Tigers. The Lions didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Despite the loss, Eisenhower still got an impressive performance from Owen Stanberry, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 22 points. Those 22 points gave Stanberry a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Romari Howard, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points and five boards.

Goddard's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Eisenhower, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Goddard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-46 loss against Haysville Campus on the 14th. As for Eisenhower, they have also already played their next matchup, a 61-50 defeat against Newton on the 14th.
