Flag Football Recap: Fannin County Piles Up the Points Against Gilmer

Fannin County got themselves on the board against Gilmer on Thursday, but Gilmer never followed suit. They blew past the Bobcats 28-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rebels just coasted through the last quarter.

Fannin County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Adia Galloway and Karli Sams. Sams got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win (which was Fannin County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.7 points over those games. As for Gilmer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fannin County will challenge Rockmart at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gilmer, they will venture away from home to challenge Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
