Walsingham Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Christchurch School on Monday. Walsingham Academy was the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over Christchurch School. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Seahorses recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jimmy Kokolis` looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Andrew Cole, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chandler Howlett, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Walsingham Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got Walsingham Academy back to even at 5-5-1. As for Christchurch School, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Walsingham Academy will take on Cape Henry Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Walsingham Academy 3.1, Cape Henry Collegiate 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Christchurch School, they will challenge Fork Union Military Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
