Basketball Game Preview: Towns County Indians vs. Rabun County Wildcats

Towns County and Rabun County are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Towns County Indians will take on the Rabun County Wildcats in a tournament on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Towns County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Franklin just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Rabun County suffered their biggest defeat since January 16th on Saturday. They came up short against Union County, falling 83-62. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rabun County's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Towns County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Towns County suffered a grim 77-52 defeat to Rabun County in their previous matchup on December 10th. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Towns County was down 40-17.
