            Softball Recap: Bermudian Springs Eagles vs. York Catholic Fighting Irish        
        
		
        
        
            Bermudian Springs made up a huge gap compared to their last game against York Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles blew past the Fighting Irish 11-1 on Wednesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 C Kittinger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Kittinger was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. That  RBI was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  McKenna Emig was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Audrey Kuntz, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Bermudian Springs  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .520. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.

The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.8 runs over those games.  Looking ahead, Bermudian Springs is taking a road trip to  take on Middletown  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for York Catholic, they will host Camp Hill  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
