Recap: New Knoxville Rangers vs. Spencerville Bearcats
The New Knoxville Rangers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Spencerville 59-30. If New Knoxville hoped to take revenge for the 55-33 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
New Knoxville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addi Albers, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Egbert, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
New Knoxville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Spencerville, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
New Knoxville will play host again and welcome St. Henry, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Henry is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Spencerville, they will head out on the road to challenge Riverdale at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
