Recap: Alpaugh Buffalos vs. Legacy Christian Academy Lions
The Alpaugh Buffalos proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 39) but on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Legacy Christian Academy and snuck past 44-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alpaugh.
Alpaugh's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jesse Alcazar, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jesus Nunez, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Alpaugh is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Laton the next time they take the court. Alpaugh will host the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th.
