Softball Recap: South Anchorage Makes It Five in a Row at Home

South Anchorage came out on top against Colony on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Wolverines took their game against the Knights 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 on Thursday.

South Anchorage's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Colony, their loss dropped their record down to 25-8-1.

Looking ahead, South Anchorage is taking a road trip to square off against Dimond at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Colony, they will welcome Palmer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
