Softball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 22-3 to the Anahuac Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Warren saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Buller, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. That run was Buller's first of the season.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Anahuac, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season.

Warren has already played their next match (against Stevens), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Anahuac, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Anahuac Panthers take on Buna Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
