Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Athletics Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian Athletics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-9 loss at the hands of the Dallas HSAA Angels. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dallas HSAA's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jessi Yarbrough, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Kenley Moore, who went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points and five steals.

Heritage Christian Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dallas HSAA, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.

Heritage Christian Athletics will host Joshua Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Joshua Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Heritage Christian Athletics surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dallas HSAA, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-23 win against Tournament Opponent on the 17th.
