Baseball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer fell victim to Cortland and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Purple Tigers, falling 8-0. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Purple Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Homer now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cortland, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Homer will challenge Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cortland, they will take on Skaneateles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
