Softball Recap: Bloomington Purple Raiders vs. Urbana Tigers
Bloomington can bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Urbana Tigers. The Purple Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Mady McComas tossed a big game, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025.
