Palm Desert extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Paul Dreisbach. The Aztecs claimed a resounding 78-49 win over the Twentynine Palms Wildcats for which the team can thank Dreisbach, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points and six assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.
Twentynine Palms' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Evans, who posted 16 points. Evans continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Christopher Grabow was another key player, shooting 46% from the field en route to 12 points.
Palm Desert's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Twentynine Palms, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Desert will take on Redlands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twentynine Palms, they will face off against Hemet at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
