The Portland Panthers will challenge the Greenbrier Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Portland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Portland is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since March 11. Neither they nor Pope John Paul II could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Brayan Figueroa and Wes Grandmaison scored all three of Portland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier came up short against Merrol Hyde Magnet on Wednesday, falling 6-2. Greenbrier have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Portland's draw gives them a new season record of 7-1-2. As for Greenbrier, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Portland came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenbrier in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
