Volleyball Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Elizabeth lost against Maywood CES back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 3-0.

While Elizabeth was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-21.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Maywood CES, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Elizabeth will welcome Maywood Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Nighthawks at the right time seeing as the Nighthawks are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Maywood CES, they will head out on the road to square off against Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
