Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Webster). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Richwood Rams a 22-0 shutout on Friday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

North Webster pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Richwood, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Webster will take on Sterlington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Webster will need to watch out since Sterlington has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Richwood, they will be playing at home against Bastrop at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st.
