Highland waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Dover Dragons with a sharp 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly ten runs.

Highland got a great performance from Micheal Secor as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Leland DuBoice, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Forzano, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Highland's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Dover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will welcome Millbrook at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dover, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Rhinebeck at 4:15 p.m.
