Baseball Recap: Trinity Find Success

Trinity won the last time they faced Moon Area and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hillers walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hillers.

J.R. Rieg looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Trinity is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Matthew Robaugh, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Trinity now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Moon Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Trinity will have a chance to go back-to-back against Moon Area: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
