After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hartshorne, Talihina was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Vian Wolverines 52-36. Given the Golden Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Wolverines are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Talihina's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Vian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Talihina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vian, they will take on Eufaula at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
