Basketball Recap: Boyne Falls Comes Up Short

Boyne Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pellston Hornets, falling 61-36. The Loggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Boyne Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Pellston, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-18.

Boyne Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pellston, they will be taking part in a tournament against Harbor Light Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pellston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
