Football Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Freedom extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Edgewater Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Eagles are ranked 34th).

As for Edgewater, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edgewater to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damian Moore, who rushed for 84 yards and one TD. Remy Jarman was another key signal caller, throwing for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Freedom has already played their next game, a 62-0 defeat against East Ridge on the 12th. As for Edgewater, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-17 win against Jones on the 12th.
