Soccer Recap: Grass Lake Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Grass Lake was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Western Panthers could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Grass Lake's record moves to 9-6-1. As for Western, they moved theirs to 7-1-7.

Grass Lake and Western should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Warriors will challenge Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (186 vs. 420). Meanwhile, Western (ranked 89th) will meet Northwest (ranked 242nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
