The Pueblo South Colts will face off against the Severance Silver Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Severance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Pueblo South's tournament run continued when they took on Eaton on Friday. The Colts came up short against the Reds, falling 16-6.
Akoya Adams made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 while logging 1 home run, 3 runs, and 2 RBIs. The three hits were her most since at least August 20th last year, when she had three vs. Eaton.
Pueblo South swung out of their shoes and finished the game with two home runs. That's the best they've done in that category since at least August 15, 2025.
Meanwhile, Severance waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins...and they left with three. They put the hurt on the Angels with a sharp 22-7 victory. That looming 22-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Silver Knights yet this season.
Emery Waggener made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 while logging 4 RBIs, 2 runs, and 1 double.

Severance now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pueblo South, they have now lost 13 of their last 16 games at home. That leaves them at a 3-5 record this season.
