Baseball Game Preview: Branson Bulls vs. Terra Linda Trojans

For the second straight game, Branson will face off against Terra Linda. The Bulls will take on the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Branson and Terra Linda have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bulls walked away with a 5-2 win over the Trojans.

Mo Jacoby made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Jacoby was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other pitching news, Grayson Roberts looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Jacoby wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tom Lardner, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Another was Holden Cane, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Terra Linda is on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17. As for Branson, their record is now 8-11.
